| Technology innovation is not only the important impetus of national economic growth, but also the sources of industrial and enterprise. Technology innovation as the sustainable development of enterprises, industries and the basis of wealth creation, we must establish an effective incentive mechanism to progress development. Patent protection system is the important means to promote scientific and technological progress, which is also the world’s common application of science and te chnology management system. Therefore, this article embarks from the relationship between R&D investment and technology innovation performance, at the same time the introduction of patent protection system, studying the effect of patent protection on technological innovation performance, and to adjust the relationship between R&D investment and technology innovation activity effect.Based on C hina’s 30 provinces from 1996 to 2011 large and medium-sized industrial enterprise data, the article makes empirical analysis on the R&D, patent protection effects on technological innovation performance, and also analyzes the adjustment of patent protection, which is technology innovation policy arrangements to development activities. Firstly, this article introduced t he relationship between R&D and technology innovation performance. Secondly, based on the basis of theory, this article set research hypothesis, variables design and measurement, and finally it built the regression model. By using Excel and Stata11.0 statistical analysis to carry out on the panel data analysis software, this paper analyses the relationship between variables and make a conclusion of relationship among patent protection, R&D investment and technology innovation performance.Empirical results are made following: There is significant positive correlation between R&D investment and technological innovation performance, what’s more, either R&D funds intensity or R&D personnel intensity was significantly positively related to technological innovation performance.But R&D funds intensity, compared with R&D personnel intensity, has stronger relation with technology innovation performance; Patent protection system has a significant positive effect on technology innovation performance; And patent protection system has a positive adjustment effect on the relationship between R&D investment and technological innovation performance. But the positive adjustment effect is stronger on the relationship between R&D funds intensity and technology innovation perfo rmance than on the relationship between R&D personnel intensity and technology innovation performance. Finally, on the basis of the analysis of the empirical results and sights of relationship among patent protection, R&D investment and technology innovation performance, some enlightenment and Suggestions of technological innovation are made in this article. |
