The Internet Finance is a combination of modern information technology and traditional financial industry, as an emerging field, it is taking a flourishing look in China. The Internet Finance not only instil s new energy into the finance market but also brings about huge chal enge to traditional financial institutions which are also accelerating the integration process of Internet Finance. As the Internet Finance advances gradually, lots of creative operation models appear in turn, including peeringto-peering lending, Crowdfunding, big-data finance and so on. Different operation models are featured with different properties and ways, therefore confronting different risks. The risk control is the key to the development of the Internet finance, but so far it has not turned out a scientific and rational risk assessment method. As a result, it is of great significance to construct a scientific and rational risk assessment model of the Internet Finance, as it is fairly not enough to promote the advancement of the Internet Finance industry by the risk control capability of the Internet Finance models themselves.Based on this background, the paper firstly presents and summarizes the theories of the Internet Finance on conceptions, properties, business models, risk and risk management. Later, it analyzes the current business models of Chinese Internet Finance in a range of operation features, tendency, advantages and disadvantages, using the foreign and domestic researches as a reference. Next, it sums the common risks and distinct risks of each model, and explores the causes of different risks and features. Finally, according to the description of the Internet financial risks, it establishes an Internet Financial risk assessment index system and makes an assessment of the Internet financial risk with a fuzzy assessment model, ending with a series of policies and suggestions on risk prevention.
