Transportation is the basis of regional economic development,in turn, regional economic development is also the power of the development of transportation, both restrict and promote each other. Ethnic minority areas as less developed areas, the poor transportation is the biggest bottleneck restricting, therefore, It is particularly urgent to research on transportation how to interact with the regional economic development in ethnic minority areas. Since China’s reform and opening up, especially after the wen chuan earthquake reconstruction, a ba is given priority to with highway transportation has been rapid development. According to the statistical yearbook shows that a ba highway mileage has increased by nearly 2 times, passenger traffic increased 13 times, freight volume has increased 2.1 times in nearly a decade. It is a focus that how does the relationship between transportation and economic development at a ba in the study of this article, to figure out the relationship each other, in order to transport and economic interaction development in national regions to provide the reference.Through comb relevant theories and research status at home and abroad, futher making a deep theoretical on the interactive development mechanism of transportation and regional economy in this paper. This paper specific elaborates the influence on the transportation to the level of economic development, industrial structure optimization and urbanization and on economic development and regional policy level to transportation demand, in order to make guidance for quantitative analysis. Under the guidance of the theory, it is for comparative statistical analysis of transportation and economic development between a ba with other ethnic areas in si chuan provices. Testing a prefecture level on the transportation and economic development by cointegration and Granger causality and conducting a large number of measurement and data statistical analysis on the relationship of transportation between with economy, industrial structure, population and urban distribution and the tourism.Based on the results of the comprehensive analysis of relevant data summary and thinking, although both the transportation development and the economic development existed in a series of problems exist at a ba, There is the interaction each other. transportation construction promotes the state of economic development, in turn, the improvement of economic level and the optimization of industrial structure is also greatly increase the demand for transportation at a ba. In order to solve the current problems existing in the economic development and transportation in a ba and to realize the interactive development between the two, In this paper, It is puts forward to countermeasures and suggestions though system and practical aspects in this paper. Specifically, it is the financing environment, an intelligent management system, integrated planning, arterial grid optimization, and sustainability.
