Research On Eco-tourism Carbon Footprint Of Hongze Lake Wetland

In recent years, a series of problems caused by the greenhouse effect attracted people’s attention to "carbon". People’s living standards is improving. Then human’s demand is changing gradually from the low level to the high level according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. The physical and mental pleasure and mind baptism are more concerned. And at the same time tourism arises at the historic moment.Besides,with the theories of the sustainable development in people`s heart,low-carbon tourism develop gradually.Hongze lake is the fourth largest freshwater lake in China, which is rich in resources. And the hongze lake wetland nature reserve, wetland park, and Forest Park have also increased its attractiveness. Besides, in East China,Hongze Lake Wetland has the most distinct characteristics of wetland ecological landscape,so we just do a research about it. In this paper, combined with the characteristics of Hongze Lake wetland ecological scenic spot, and depended on ‘eat, live, row, swim, entertainment,purchase’, we analyzed the carbon footprint of tourism of the scenic spot.And then,the results are summarized and analyzed, the optimization of related scenic spot of carbon management measures are put forward, which will romote the development of scenic area of low carbon travel.The core of this paper is the establishment of the carbon footprint calculation model, As well as the data acquisition and calculation. The author establishes he elements of tourism carbon footprint calculation model combined with life cycle theory.Refer to relevant research results, querying statistics yearbook and questionnaires, the calculation of the data needed are obtained by us. Then we using SPSS to analyze the calculation results. Finally we come to the following conclusions:Firstly, the calculation results display that wetland ecological tourism of Hongze Lake producing carbon footprint for about 63524.34 t in 2014. its source mainly from travel-catering-carbon, tourist-accommodation-carbon, and tourist-traffic-carbon.The largest quantity of CO2 emissions is tourism catering, followed by transport and accommodation, but the difference is not significant.Secondly, the results analysis that wetland-ecological-scenic-area carbon footprint of Hongze Lake above the world`s level. The development of low carbon tourism is not mature in Hongze Lake. Some measures and policy about emissions reduction should be pay more attention.Thirdly, the attractions of Hongze lake wetland ecological scenic spot is aquatic products rather than its scenery. Therefore, the develop ecological tourism must based on the basis of low carbon tourism, from the construction of ecological scenic spot start,and to develop more attractive tourist line.On the basis of the research, this paper puts forward five countermeasures to the development of the Hongze lake wetland ecotourism: firstly, build a green restaurant,advocate green food. secondly, to develop moderate self-driving travel at the same time,and to encourage the development of public transport. thirdly, advance the construction of the scenic area economy hotel, and promote the application of energy conservation and environmental protection measures. Fourth, to strengthen environmental protection consciousness, and reduce carbon emissions. Fifth, strengthen carbon management,build low-carbon tourism environment.
