The Research Of Evaluation Method And Growth Path For Regional Advantageous Industry

In the context of innovation-driven and economic transformation,a large number of regions accelerate industrial structure adjustment. The selection and cultivation of advantageous industry, which is not only suitable for the regional economy development and industrial structure transformation and upgrading,but also have much potential in the future,has become the immediate task at hand. The dissertation takes the evaluation method and growth path of regional advantageous industry as the main contents,attempting to solve the issue from two levels of theory and practice.The dissertation summarizes the research about basic conceptions of regional advantageous industry using the method of literature review,defines its conception integrated into strategic management theory,and then clarify the research contents based on the existing research results. In this paper,regional advantageous industry is divided into potential advantageous industry and mature advantageous industry according to industry life cycle theory,we use the method of scenario analysis and factor analysis to evaluate these two types of advantageous industry respectively. After that we construct the complete growth path of regional advantageous industry according to industry life cycle theory,industry cluster theory,industry chain theory and innovation theory.After the research,we get some important conclusions as follows:1. Regional advantageous industry is an industry that based on the external opportunities given by the region, can make full use of regional comparative advantage which combined with the inherent advantage of the industry itself,and can ultimately convert into competitive advantage.2. The existing evaluation methods are to evaluate regional advantageous industry from the perspective of competition results,belongs to the static evaluation on a certain time. We should consider the industry life cycle when evaluating it,and use different evaluation methods to evaluate regional advantageous industry in the different life cycle. Scenario analysis is suitable for the evaluation of potential advantageous industry.3. Regional advantageous industry follows the law of industry life cycle in the growth process,progressing from infancy,youth to mature. Actually,the growth path are:In its infancy——market spontaneity and government promotion;In its rapid growth——the development of industry cluster driven by leading enterprises;In its mature——high stage of marketing.
