Under the background of the rapid development of economy、society and urbanization in China, land value is increasingly reflected, the competition between different land use subject and the imbalance of land use structure, make the land use conflict very outstanding. The purpose of this study was to develop an evaluation framework of land use conflict, and use Grey correlation analytic method to research the main driving factors of land use conflict. A set of conflict factors was selected based on the PSR model and social conflicts and human relations theory, reference for related research. In this paper, the evaluation framework of land use conflict was demonstrated through a case study of Yangtze River delta economic zone,25 indicators were chosen to represent the three aspects:pressure、state and response, combining the entropy weight method to determine the weight of every factor, then calculate the land use conflict intensity index of Yangtze River delta economic zone from 2004 to 2013 and analyzes the characteristics of time and space, on the basis of using grey correlation analysis to explore the dominant factor of land use conflict. Research conclusion is:(1) land use conflict in Yangtze River delta economic zone characterized by wavelike rises trend with time, in space, most of the cities showed low intensity conflict at the beginning of the study, cities with high conflict increase with time and appear agglomeration phenomenon to the economic developed cities; (2) in Yangtze River delta economic zone land use conflict causes can be summarized as the pressure of economic development and industrial structure factors, factors of land use structure, and population pressure and land input factors, the grey correlation analysis shows that economic development and urban expansion pressure on the land use system is the main driving factors of land use conflicts;(3) Summarized the policy implications of research results conflict to land use conflict management and regulation, mainly including adjustment of land use structure, coordinating the realization of multiple land value; controlling the population size, alleviate the pressure of the land; narrow the gap between urban and rural, the realization of overall development.
