Port is an important place of goods collection, distribution and commercial transaction. It is a transportation hub of a country or a region as well. Along with changing relation of supply and demand in port service market recent years and also in order to strive for long term growth, port enterprises try to use traditional commercial intellectual technology to help them make decisions. However, due to traditional commercial intellectual technology only focus on structural data within the enterprise and has ability limitations on non-structural data processing outside enterprises, it caused unsatisfied effectiveness. As to this problem, in this paper, we put forward a new port customer classification method which is based on internal and external data combination. Through the non-structural data collection and processing outside enterprise, analyze and obtain customer information pointedly. Then carry out overall potential risk evaluation of port customers by using of internal and external data combination and application of file classification, distributed computing and analytic hierarchy process theory and technology. Apply of big-data technology which formed by the internal and external data combination can overcome the delay, unilateral and distortion during the port customer risk evaluation by only use of internal data. This helps enterprises to understand customer’s real risk level timely, comprehensively and systematically, so that assist port enterprise to know customer well and avoid risks.With the current situation of the information construction of a port in Guangzhou as its research background, the port customer classification combining internal and external data as its means, the paper’s purpose is the risk control for port enterprises. Based on the Customer risk control theory and Text classification method, the paper makes the following studies:Firstly, it establishes a comprehensive risk assessment index system for port customers. Secondly, it establishes models for port customer classification, which based on the combination of internal and external data. Thirdly, it analyzes the existing business process, basing on the characteristics of the risk control system of port customers, proposes optimization scheme for risk control process. Finally, it makes use of distributed computing technology and J2EE technology, realizing the design of the customer risk control system for the whole port.
