The research theme is study of the Forced Distribution Method validity factors. The forced distribution method is known as "dynamic curve" from the GE company, and attracts the western industry high interest.lt aims to modify the benevolent effect with general satisfaction and similar effect with slight assessment disparity which appear in the examination process by using its advantages. But when make use of the Forced distribution method, companies often receive negative cases, thus industry and theorists both have complex attitudes on its validity problem.Researches abroad about Forced distribution method start early and plentiful, while researches domestic begin late and focus mainly on its advantages and disadvantages discussion as well as the localization and recommendations qualitative aspects.we study four main factors influencing the forced distribution method validity.Namely,Conseque-nces of poor performance, rewards differentiation, size of comparison group and frequency and consistency of feedback. Analytic strategies adopt a policy-capturing design, the orthogonal design which combines two levels of four factors into different groups and the hierarchical linear regression model of analysis data, thus verify the hypothesis and provide reference suggestions for enterprises to make efficient use of the Forced Distribution Method according to the research conclusions. The research found consequences of poor performance is the most important factors influencing the forced distribution method validity. There exits enforcement effectiveness differences among different characteristics population groups. The article is intended for Chinese enterprises to maximize the positive enforcement function, reduce its negative impact, and provide some basis for decision making and reference proposal while increase domestic quantitative study cases about the Forced Distribution Method.
