Tax cost plays an important role in the operating cost of enterprises, With the improvement of tax reform and the conduct of the legal system. Companies pay more attention to the activities of the tax effect of the entire organization. Many companies are paying attention on tax planning as an important part of financial management. Medical instruments industry is an important industry. With the improvement of people’s consumption level, aging population, People’s demand for medical devices has been in rapid growth among.In this paper, medical instruments production and marketing enterprises as the research object. The first part of the article is to collate and summarize the relevant literature. The second part is an overview of the theory of tax planning, lay the theoretical foundation for the later tax planning. The third part is the overall situation of the medical instruments industry to analyze. The fourth part selected a company M as an example. Analyzed the company’s annual financial report, field research, discovering problems and seek tax planning space. The fifth part selected three major taxes to plan. The VAT planning designed mode of transport, settlement and the tax liability time. Tariff is based on the specific circumstances of the company M characteristics of high-tech enterprises, mainly set up branches, research and development expenses deduction, depreciation of fixed assets and capital planning weakening three aspects. Customs taxis according to the characteristics of the medical instruments industry imported goods, planning from commodity classification, rules of origin, exchange gains and losses. The sixth provided some tax planning advice for the whole industry.With the constant improvement of tax planning theory, tax planning is not limited to the goal of reducing the tax burden of short-term interests. Tax planning should be carried out under the guidance of the strategic enterprise management, in order to achieve the overall enterprise value maximization as its objective. In this paper, through the study of the tax planning in the medical device industry, description corporate finance from the point of view to develop practical feasibility of tax planning,especially for companies less concerned with tariff planning. Tax planning not only be able to bring their own potential benefits and practical interests, but also provide some valuable suggestions for the whole industry.
