In recent years, along with the impact of increasingly fierce competition in the same industry, the emergence of internet finance, nonbank financial institutions across the industrial competition and the intensive trend of financial disintermediation, etc., the major of commercial banks have carried out a variety of system innovation to enhance core competitiveness under the great external pressure. As an important channel of bank profit source, physical outlets is the core position of banks to carry out the reform, rely on the dot upgrade, the reform and innovation of Chinese banking industry has been constantly promoted by building new core competence or strengthening existing competitive advantage of soft transition. The bank of A as traditional commercial bank, the core product is financial services and the main body to provide services is employees. So the key problem which should be researched by the bank of A is that how to lead the staff to improve their own ability, literacy and performance through performance management, coordinate the personal pursuit of employee and objectives of the organization, accordingly improving the whole performance of the organization.In this paper, taking Z branch of A bank as the research sample, through using the current domestic and foreign performance evaluation theories and tools, the internal and external environment, staff characteristics and current performance evaluation methods have been analyzed and diagnosed faced by the subsidiaries of A bank, the basic conclusion is that the performance evaluation method is lag behind the operation and management’s current situation for the transformation network of A bank. Further combined with the actual operation of Z branch of A bank, by using the method of literature research, theoretical analysis and project design, using the relevant theory of performance evaluation, quantitative comparative analysis, field investigation and other methods, the typical and representative problems and their reasons in performance evaluation have been diagnostic analyzed for the Z branch of A bank, then put forward the optimization ideas, optimization solutions to the performance evaluation, and gives the method of effective implementation.The performance evaluation problem of Z branch for A bank is universal to the traditional city branch, through this study, we hope Z branch of A bank can solve the existing performance evaluation problems by using the application analysis and response. Also look forward to the results of the research provide a reference to the traditional banking outlets to improve the level of performance management in the transformation, and positive reference to the similar problems in the performance evaluation of bank outlets.
