The Countermeasures And Research Of Central Enterprises’ EVA Performance Evaluation

As the capital market of our country’s economic lifeline, the central enterprises has always been playing an important role in promoting the healthy and stable development of China’s economy. Therefore, for the central enterprises, it is great significance to establish a healthy and perfect performance evaluation system.In the early 1990s, Economic value added (EVA) concept is proposed by two American scholars, Joel Stern and Bennett Stewart. Subsequently it registered by the famous American consulting firm, Stern Stewart & Co. and extended to the global and achieved great success.In 2010, State-owned assets supervision and administration commission (SASAC) introduced the index formally. At the same time, "Central business person in charge of performance evaluation Provisional Measures" was planned to cooperate with the old traditional evaluation method for comprehensive evaluation of state-owned enterprises operating performance. In recent years, the evaluation weight of EVA value is increasing, which shows that China’s recognition of the index evaluation scientifically. The EVA value continues to guide the enterprises to abandon the bad habit of focus on short-term investments, and get rid of the status quo of big but not strong gradually.However, the EVA evaluation methods of central enterprises which planned by SASAC is not perfect. Compared with foreign mature application EVA index assessment system, there are still a lot of problems. Specific to the implementation level, during the performance appraisal process the central enterprises also exist problems.This paper is based on the "Central business person in charge of performance evaluation Provisional Measures", through quantitative, comparison, system analysis of the actual case of central enterprises listing Corporation Sinochem fertilizer Co. Holdings Limited calculation and analysis of the existing assessment methods, puts forward the problems in matching, and put forward the improvement measures and suggestions. In this paper, the author expect to help improve the evaluation of existing central enterprise EVA performance of our approach, initiate, guide the application of EVA performance evaluation system in the more committed to create the value of the enterprise, not just limited to the application of the central enterprises, led Chinese more enterprises pay more attention to value creation, and promote the development of China’s market economy faster and better.
