The Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasure Analysis Of Geologic Data Service In National Geological Archives

In the beginning of 21 th Century,with the propulsion of the digital land engineering and the accumulation of the geologic data,providing socialzed service of the geological work and achievements in geological surveys had been put on the schedule. The idea of providing better information service was proposed through the construction of the geologic data center,data association and share and exchange platform system by information technology team and geologic data work team.Currently,the geologic data plays an important role in Chinese economic development and it has been deeply in different trades.It is a important reference in infrastructure construction, engineering construction and national defense construction.Based on the basic situation of National Geological Archives of China(NGAC),the thesis analyzes the collection of geological data,data management,data service and information network construction of NGAC which as a leading institutions in China. According to the Theory of Public Goods, the thesis analyzes the classification of geologic data.It’s futher pointed out that the service products of NGAC are almost pure public goods and public goods. Based upon the Theory of Public Service, it is analyzed that the core value should be highlighted in the service of geological data, which will maximize the benefits of the government and public.The thesis makes a thorough exposition of the current status of NGAC by dwelling on its data,management,service,as well as the trend of development.Then a study on the major problems and the reasons for restricting the improvement of the social service level of the NGAC are analyzed.Such as geological data service level need to be improved,service concept obsolete,low degree of information exchanging and sharing, lack of professional management and technical personnel and infrastructure needs to be strengthened,etc..Meanwhile,based on analysis of the advanced experience of domestic and foreign geological data management and service, for improving the level of geological data service of NGAC by developing different service strategies and service products for different users, strengthen the training of specialized personnel and talent team construction, improving the public version of the data production, realizing the sharing of network resources and constructing of the national geological data center.To summarize,this research work has an important reference to improve the NGAC’s geological data service level, recognize with the major gap between China and developed countries and improve the level of geological data service ability.
