An Empirical Analysis Of The Scale~* Economy Of Farmers Planting Rice In Fujian

For a long time, China’s rural work in order to ensure national food security and increase farmers’income as the goal orientation, to realize the balance between the two is the important guarantee of modern agricultural development in our country. Agriculture moderate scale management is an important development way, guarantee rural work goal is to achieve the basic direction of modern agriculture. So the farmers the scale economy and measuring the rice moderate scale management to improve the management efficiency of the rice is of great significance, is also to achieve the goal of ensuring food security and farmers’income play a key role.This paper analyzes the farmer rice planting scale of Fujian province as the research sample, for rice planting scale economy of the theoretical analysis and empirical research, and measure the Fujian rice farmers moderate scale management. Nearly a decade of Fujian province, through the analysis of the collected rice planting area, yield, such as the ratio of input and output of production data, use the Fujian rural fixed observation points of rice farmers field survey data, and based on the statistical analysis of relevant variables and peasant household production cost model based on semi logarithmic function, logarithmic function form estimates of farmers’input-output model, this paper get the following conclusion:through the empirical analysis can be concluded that the Fujian farmers grow rice in statistically significant economies of scale are not there. From the cost of production or output level goal orientation analysis, theory of Fujian farmer rice cultivation were moderate scale. When Fujian farmers rice planting scale expands unceasingly, in this paper, the rice planting scale within 0-20 mu), its level of output of rice showed a trend of the change of the "up and then down". From production cost model and the input-output model of rice cultivation moderate scale. In this paper, according to the data analysis in the perspective of maximum output analysis, in the short term of Fujian province rice for 3 to 5 acres of small-scale farmers grow because of the influence of labor force, will lead to higher under intensive cultivation of rice output, but based on Fujian province under the background of labor costs, production costs rise, in the long term,3 to 5 acres of small business not conducive to arouse the enthusiasm of farmers grow rice. In order to reduce the cost of production for a long time research point of view, from the guarantee food security and promote research orientation on farmers’income, the moderate scale of Fujian rice farmers should be around 20 mu.Based on the above research conclusion, according to the present situation of grain production and demand of Fujian province and in the context of small-scale rice cultivation, in view of the high cost of Fujian cultivated land circulation, the lack of new agricultural subject, backward agricultural socialization service level, cultural education level of farmers lower problem put forward the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions, in order to arouse the enthusiasm of farmers grow rice, encourage farmers to increase the size of rice planting, achieve the goal of ensuring food security and farmers’income.
