Research On Performance Evaluation Of New Generation Of Information Technology Listed Companies

As one of national focus on supporting emerging industries, new generation of information technology industry’development is still in its infancy, and the evaluation of the industry’s performance is also still exploratory stage. Compared to traditional industry, a new generation of information technology industry has high innovation and high growth. Thus, in the selection of evaluation indicators, we should put more focus on indicators that are closely related to enterprises’innovation capacity and development capacity. Establishing a performance evaluation system that meets the characteristics of the new generation of information technology industry will bring us two aspects benefits. On the one hand, it reflects operating conditions of enterprises, which can help enterprises find operating problems in the process of management, as well as strengthen the capacity of management and competitiveness; On the other hand, by analyzing the results of the performance evaluation, we will help investors to select enterprises that are deserve to be invest. As a result, investors can make correct decision. Therefore, it is very meaningful to research the performance evaluation of new generation of information technology listed companiesThe study of this thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is an introduction, which is mainly an elaboration of the research background, significance and methods. And it proposes possible innovative points and features of this thesis. The second part is the basic analysis of the new generation of information technology industry performance evaluation. It consists of three aspects:definition of the concept, analysis of relevant basic theory and presentation of main methods. The second part first defines the concept relevant to information technology industry and performance evaluation, followed by further analysis of the basic theory-principal-agent theory, stakeholder theory, system theory and the theory of strategic managers. Finally, introduce the main method of generation of enterprises performance evaluation and the strength of data envelopment analysis. The third part is to build a performance evaluation index system for the new generation of information technology listed companies. Analyzing the situation and influence factors of the new generation of information technology industry and focus on the construction of a new generation of information technology companies listed on the performance evaluation index system. The fourth part is empirical model performance evaluation on new generation of information technology companies listed based on DEA. In this paper, we choose the new generation of information technology listed companies in the shanghai stock exchange as the research object, and select 2012-2014 three years data for the empirical analysis. Using the DEA and Malmquist Index model, both static and dynamic aspects, we test the new generation of information technology listed companies performance evaluation system construction, and analyze the results of the process. Studies have shown that the performance gap between the level of a new generation of information technology listed companies is huge, the overall level of performance to be further improved. The fifth part is the conclusion. This paper describes the research findings and policy recommendations. Summarize the lack of research and proposed research prospects.Study features and innovation is mainly reflected in the contents and methods. As one of emerging industries that our country support, research on performance evaluation of new generation of information technology industry is still in the exploratory stage. Based on the features of the new generation of information technology industry, as well as the principles of performance indicators, the article build a performance evaluation system in line with the new generation of information technology listed companies. Using DEA and Malmquist Index model method to test the performance evaluation index system of new generation of information technology listed companies both static and dynamic aspects.
