With the development of power industry and national economy, the demand of power distribution industry on low-voltage electric appliance and complete equipments is also increasing.In order to solve the problems of current domestic conventional constant-current power equipments which are time-consuming, unwarranted accuracy and serious waste of energy, Zhejiang Electric Co., Ltd. developed the energy-efficient high-current programmable alternating current power supply cabinet. It has the characteristics of high precision, high degree of automation, reliability and significant energy savings, etc. Firstly, the geological and construction conditions, the general layout and public engineers, energy consumption indicators and energy saving measures, construction safety and management of the project of an annual output of 1,000 sets of energy-efficient high-current programmable AC power supply cabinet constant technological transformation projects are analyzed. Secondly, the technical feasibility analysis of process schemes, required equipments, raw materials supply, public engineers and environmental protection of the project are accomplished. Thirdly, the project construction period interest and liquidity are calculated, and the plan of funding and sub-annual use is given. At last, the economic and financial evaluation conclusion of the project is given by costs analysis, sales taxes and additional estimates, total profit and distribution, profitability, liquidity, profit and loss balance, sensitivity analysis and uncertainty analysis. The paper has the following main conclusions:(1) The project has advanced technology solutions, and the equipments selected have advanced technology and economic rationality which can meet the production process. The long-term supply agreements signed with the relevant suppliers can ensure timely supply of raw materials. Through the development of a detailed implementation plan schedule, the project can be put into operation on schedule.(2) According to the financing plan, the project capital is 11.64 million yuan, which is 48.5% of the total investment, in line with the relevant national regulations. The expected normal annual revenue of the project is 90 million yuan (excluding tax). The after-tax payback period is 3.99 years. The project financial internal rate of return is higher than the industry benchmark, which has strong solvency and profitability. The project has a certain anti-risk ability and is adapt to changes in the external market environment. Therefore, the project is feasible in the financial evaluation.
