As the economy and the global competition grow rapidly, the contemporary enterprise competition has been evolving as the competition for the talents. To allocate the talents to the crucial working position precisely and timely is becoming a crux factor for the enterprise to take an upper hand in competition. As an important measure for matching and forwarding the relationship between top-level talents and enterprise, headhunting is playing a significant role more often both in domestic and overseas talents markets. Company C is a leading enterprise in the domestic household appliance business, which accumulated rich recruiting and management experience. It is worth mentioning that company C recruited a couple of high-level talents ranging from technology to management by means of headhunting in recent years. These recruited talents contributed flourish energy and hope to the sustainable development of the company.The thesis contains 5 parts overall. Chapter 1 mainly focused on the study of research background check and research significance, clarified the research purposes and contents. Chapter 2 summarized the origin, history and current situation of headhunting overseas and domestic partially. And also chapter 2 presented the research framework of the thesis. Chapter 3 concentrated on the overview introduction of the company C, and also elaborated some case studies of the back ground, process and achievement of the actual headhunting action when the author worked at company C. chapter 4 analyzed the decision-making process and its potential influence factors in company C’s headhunting activities. This chapter also analyzed the cause and effect between the relationship of the candidates’ quality, position information, and the headhunting project. Chapter 5 mainly made a conclusion of the thesis, in the meantime, presented some modest proposals concerning with the headhunting application for the enterprise.Based on the methodology of case study, experience summarization, literature review, the thesis retrospect and summarized the related study of the headhunting research documents overseas and domestic. The thesis set examples by four headhunting projects of Company C in recent years to study the effectiveness of the headhunting project operation from the perspective of the enterprise. According to the study, the thesis drew the conclusion that a précised job description is the foundation for the success of the headhunting project; and the common consensus of the recruiting requirement in the company is the key motivation for the headhunting project. It is more profitable if the enterprise and the headhunting agency can join hands to advance the headhunting projects. And also presents some factors that might influence the success of the headhunting project such as the degree of the pragmatism and professionalism of the candidates. What is more, the thesis offers proposals for the notices concerning with the matters domestic companies, headhunting and candidates may witness in recruiting practice.
