With the slowing growth rate of current economy, the competition in domestic market among enterprise for limited resource is becoming increasingly tense and fierce. As the external market environment changing, changes in the enterprise team responded to it become intense, rapid response of important operation method and organizational form is more and more important. With the trend of population aging in our country, the enterprise employee age structure also shows the more and more obviously diversity characteristics. Employees of different ages have different knowledge, skills, and abilities, the values, cultural background, professional background and their work style also exist differences. How to effectively manage the diversity enterprise human resources to promote the exchanges of different age groups employees get better communication and collaboration, enhance the harmony between the employees has become one of the most important challenges for Chinese enterprise managers.This article selects our country SME board and the GEM listed companies as the research sample, to explore the relationship between enterprise employee age diversity and enterprise operating performance in empirical research, and discusses the adjustment of enterprise innovation and the nature of the ownership of enterprises between enterprise employees age diversity and corporate performance. The results showed that the diversity of employee age structure for enterprise’s corporate performance has positive role in promoting. At the same time, High and new technology enterprise in terms of relative to the high-tech enterprises the diversity of employee age structure for the enterprise’s corporate performance has a better role in promoting; Non-state-owned enterprises relative to the state-owned enterprises, employees age diversity for enterprise’s business performance has a better role in promoting.Text of the first chapter is the introduction, this paper briefly introduces the research background, research questions of this article, the significance of research and innovation. The second chapter is literature review, first of all, employee age diversity and the related concepts of enterprise operating performance are defined, then to predecessor about staff diversity to the enterprise in the employee individual performance and review the influence of organizational performance, emphatically introducing the age diversity of this dimension. The third chapter are research questions follow the relevant theoretical basis, based on the company strategy, organization, management and decision-making level and individual psychological introducing the related theory and based on this put forward in this paper with the research hypothesis. Chapter IV shows the research method and research design, and introduces this research institute involved in the independent variables and dependent variables, control variables, regulating variable, their measurement and research methods. The fifth chapter is the empirical test through the application of statistical analysis software to get descriptive statistics for each variable to analysis and correlation analysis. The regression analysis was carried out on the specific sample data, testing the correctness of the assumptions, finally discussed the results of empirical research. The sixth chapter is research conclusion for this paper on the basis of analyzing the contributions in this research. At the same time, putting forward in this paper, we recommend more suggestions for future research.
