Study Of GEM Listed Companies About The Relationship Between Ownership Structure And Corporate Governance Performance

With the development of economic globalization, the domestic capital market is facing more and more challenges. As an important driving force to solve the employment problem of the country and an important means of economic growth, entrepreneurial companies played an important role for domestic economic and social development of our country, but compared with developed countries, the overall level of development of start-ups is still a large gap exists, such as short life, small size and so on. How to improve the overall level of development of entrepreneurial enterprises, improve corporate governance performance becoming entrepreneurs scholar concern. This article uses the GEM listed companies as a starting to point to study the role of start-ups in the ownership structure of corporate governance factors in play.Because of the particularity of GEM listed company, this article is based on the analysis of the structural characteristics of the GEM. From the perspective of equity ownership concentration to examine the relationship between constituted company ownership structure and corporate governance performance of the market. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between ownership concentration and corporate governance performance, namely the business enterprises ownership more concentrated, corporate governance performance will be higher; the negative effects between state-owned shares and corporate governance is not obvious; corporate shares there is no significant correlation between corporate governance performance, there was a significant negative correlation between the ratio of outstanding shares and corporate governance performance.This paper is divided into six chapters. The chapter One introduced the research background, review literature, methods and innovation of this paper; the second chapter introcuces the theoretical basis of this study, combined with the company’s listing on the GEM, it proposed the hypothesis of this paper; the third chapter analyzes the current situation and characteristics of entrepreneurial start-ups ownership structure of their own; the fourth chapter introduces the research methods, describes the variable index empirical research and empirical model; the fifth chapter first used principal component to analysis the corporate governance performance indicators comprehensive test, followed by regression analysis of the ownership structure and corporate governance performance of studies have examined, given the results of empirical studies testing; chapter six used the results of empirical analysis to give policy recommendations related to this article and present deficiencies of article.
