On The Land-use/Land-cover Change Of Yanhe Basin

Remote sensing and geographic information system technology were used to analyze the features, rules, processes, causes and driving forces of land-use/land-cover change in Yanhe basin. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Changes happened in all land-use types of Yanhe basin from 1990 to 2000 and from 2000 to 2015. The forest area increased from 788.14 km2(1990) to 895.09 km2(2000), then up to 1347.67 km2(2015) obviously. But, the farmland area decreased from 3300.74 km2(1990) to 3254.77 km2(2000), down to 2812.16 km2(2015). However, the urban land and water area showed little change.(2) The circulations of all land-use types in Yanhe basin were significant from 1990 to 2015. The areas of forest, farmland, water and wasteland were turned out 1.10 km2, 84.50 km2, 4.02 km2, 86.72 km2 respectively from 1990 to 2000, the areas of forest, farmland, water, wasteland and urban land were turned in 107.97 km2, 38.64 km2, 6.83 km2, 19.96 km2, 2.94 km2 respectively. The areas of forest, farmland, water and wasteland were turned out 12.63 km2, 454.69 km2, 0.81 km2, 124.5 km2 respectively from 2000 to 2015, the areas of forest, farmland, water, wasteland and urban land were turned in 465.15 km2, 11.82 km2, 7.16 km2, 65.78 km2, 42.72 km2 respectively.(3) 2.29% land in Yanhe basin was changed from 1990 to 2000, the average annual rate was 0.23%. 7.70% land was changed from 2000 to 2015, the average annual rate was 0.51%, 2.22 times higher than that of the average annual rate from 1990 to 2000.(4) In Yanhe basin, the humanity factors, such as natural forest protection, grain for green project and the Great Green Wall in the north are the main driving forces of land-use/landcover change, and the natural factors take the second place.The strategies of comprehensive treatment and sustainable development are to protect the achievements of the grain for green project, to continue the grain for green project, to develop the agriculture and forestry industries and optimize the industrial structure actively, to enforce relevant laws and regulations strictly and vigorously promote the protect knowledge, and to develop education career, improve the cultural quality and technological level.
