Aquatic products are rich in protein. Aquatic product is an important agricultural exports. Investment recovery rate of fishery production is higher than crop farming. So fishery plays an important role in agriculture. With the advance of urbanization and the improvement of people’s living standards, the demand for aquatic products is increasing rapidly. China’s aquatic product supply capacity must be improved. Artificial breeding become the main source of aquatic products. Improving the supply ability of artificial breeding aquatic products has a great significance to ensure the supply of aquatic products.The functions studying the supply of agricultural products includes production function and supply response function. Lacking of production input amounts of aquatic products, we use supply response function to analysis the cultured aquatic products production in China.We firstly analyzed the national data of artificial breeding aquatic products,including the production, the producer price index, disaster rate from 1978 to 2013. In the first case, we take the yield, the price as variables. In the second case, we use the production, price, the conditions and time trend for variables. We concluded the supply response function of the cultured aquatic products in China, calculated the elasticity of both short-term and long-term supply of aquatic products in China, forecasted the future production of artificial breeding of aquatic products in our country, and interpreted of the results.The paper shown that the short-term elasticity of farmed fishery production is very small and the long-term elasticity of farmed fishery production is relatively big. Fishing production is a department requires money and technology. The short-term price fluctuations will not prompt fishermen to expand the scale of production of aquatic products. In the long run, the prices of artificial breeding aquatic products continue to change and fishermen will adjust the scale of production. For the provinces in China, the output of the previous period have positive effect on the output of this issue and the affected rate has negative effect on the output. Mariculture disaster caused by the loss is bigger.Policy suggestions includes development of artificial breeding of aquatic products processing industry, support for farmed fish cooperatives and the establishment of the fishery enterprises, disaster prevention and disaster relief, strength the construction of facilities and artificial breeding aquatic products circulation market.
