The Development Of The Labor Theory Of Value From Adam Smith, David Ricardo To Karl Marx

The aim of this paper is to insist on Marx’s Labor theory of value basis, the research and analysis of Labor theory of value from the classical economists proposed the creation of the Marxist development to improve the development process. Through the stages each representative of labor value theory formation process and content to sort out.After reading Adam Smith an inquiry into nature and causes of the wealth of nations, that is David Ricardo political economics and principle of Taxation, Marxist classics of Das Kapital, criticism of plutonomy shall be to classical labor value based, on Labor theory of value to theoretical and practical thought on, the labor theory of value from the proposed to development to improve the implication in classical works in the basic theory of refined, clarify the labor theory of value of scientific development process and in different times are analyzed.The first part is the introduction, detailing the research background of this paper, in objective to study simple system introduces William Petty was the first to put forward a basic proposition of labor theory of value, to the creation of Adam Smith’s labor value theory to David Ricardo development work dynamic value theory to improve finally Karl Marx on the labor value theory, and lists the three research methods of this paper, expounds the innovations and deficiencies of this paper.The second part is Adam Smith pioneered Labor theory of value analysis, first briefly describes the core of Adam Smith’s labor theory of value, such as value is basis of commodity exchange, the value is wealth, the value of the standard is grain content, also of Adam Smith’s theory of labor value theory with the analysis, it is pointed out that labor is the source of value and scale.The third part is the inheritance and development of David Ricardo of Adam Simy’s labor value theory, firstly analyzes the David Ricardo of Adam Simy’s definition and distinction of the initial succession.
