As a important part of explanted financial system in China, commercial banks embed between residents and entities, having the responsibility of absorbing in consumer surplus funds and applying in the real economy,controlling the key link from saving to investment. The advance of interest rate liberalization will have a major influence on the management environment and model of commercial market. If commercial banks lack the ability of risk management, their stability would be at risk,which then effect the stability of the economic system. Therefore, making research on the risk management of commercial banks in China under the condition of interest rate liberalization has important theoretical and practical significance.The paper,with the help of the macro analysis methods, historical analysis and comparative analysis,makes a detailed analysis of impact of new background on the commercial assets,liabilities and profitability. The impact includes that the disability of debt structure decreased, the invest object begin to focus on the high-risk field, and profit level presented downward trend. Then studying on the change of commercial banks’risk profile, including the risk preference,risk relevance, new characteristics of credit risk,liquidity risk and interest rate risk under the new environment and in the process of changing bank’s management model. Furthermore, the paper study on the deficiency of commercial bank’s risk management mechanism when copping with the new content of risk. Finally, the end of paper in terms of each risk, put forward a series of risk management suggestions to deal with the interest rate liberalization and promote continued development.
