In geological history period, the reefs is an extremely complex ecosystems and there is a significant development and evolution history. Carboniferous massive changes have taken place in the global pattern, is the important orogenic period in the history of the development of geology and climate changing, global cooling events often occur. The carboniferous global communities face different change happened. Therefore carboniferous is a paleogeographic evolution, paleoclimate, paleoenvironment and life period of major changes. The carboniferous reefs is under the background of the development.This paper found that the carboniferous reefs in guangxi wave flat area as the research object, discusses the carboniferous reefs of reef-forming organisms, reef type, distribution etc. The basic characteristics of the reef body, is reefs in guizhou guangxi region of a comprehensive and systematic summary which enriched the carboniferous reefs type that fill the blank of biological reef types during this period.In this paper, the formation of reefs in the study area development, the biostratigraphic research, analyzes in detail the reef stratigraphic sequenc, wrist, coral and other biota characteristics, through the contrast research, determine of reefs in this area to produce reef horizon points belong to the three period of formation, namely the installed group strata, huanglong formation, the shangchuankou group formation.Reef-building organisms were varied in carboniferous strata in the study area, mainly including various coral, sea moss and algae, constructed the reef body size, reflects the reef building environment and the complexity of Marine ecosystems. Main biological reef types include the following:XiaDong large coral reef:this type of coral reefs in this area is rare. Its scale is large, diverse reef building organisms which is typical of the early carboniferous reefs development on the edge of the carbonate platform. Reef-building organisms with radiant group plexiform coral is given priority to group block on the coral and the rung coral is complementary.Longjiang multi-layer cycle reef type:the type of coral reefs is three layer cycle type reefs which organisms is drab and each layer of the reef body scale is not large. It developed in the carbonate platform margin. Huanglong group formation belongs to late carboniferous epoch. Reef-building organisms for radiant group plexiform coral Thysanophyllum sp.Longjiang point coral reefs:this type under the multi-layer cycle type of coral which development point of the carbonate platform margin reef body and still belongs to late carboniferous huanglong formation. Body size is not big. It development on spine crumbs beach which reef-building organisms to radiant group plexiform coral Thysanophyllum sp., and also the symbiosis of monomer on the coral and coral Lithostrotion Angle block group sp.GanDong sub sea moss point reef body:the reef body is small. It is a typical patch and huanglong group of later carboniferous epoch in the development of carbonate platform. Reef-building organisms for bryozoan Fistulipora sp.Waves in the research of the reefs in flat regions of Guangxi made more systematic study of carboniferous reefs in our country for the whole of carboniferous reefs of the evolution and growth dynamics model is established to provide an example. Not only helps to research and evolution of reef-forming organisms in Guangxi region but also to biological reef reef-forming environment research provides an important basis.
