The Tao 2 area is in the east-south of the middle district in Sulige gas field,Ordos basin.This area is put into development in 2007,and have 323 development wells for now.The main development sratum is 8 segment of shihezi Formation.The development shows that the Tao 2 area have strong heterogeneity,the continuity of effective sand bodies is poor,and the size of the effective sand bodies is small as well.The bearing of trend and the connectivity of the sand body is hard to study.All those reason increasing the difficulty of horizontal well development.So the research of the sand body distribution in the member 8 Xia of Xiashihezi formation is need to carry on.In this paper,trend forsedimentology,reservoir sedimentology and logging geology as a guide,In the mean time,analyze the pattern of the production and texting data.Combine with the data of the former study,8 segment of shihezi Formation as research objectives,we study the guide bed,stratum division and contrast,characterize structural features,to ensure it is fluvial facie in shihezi Formation.Based on sedimentary facies,depicting plane phase distribution characteristics.According to the single well and well tie sand body profile characteristics of the development of mud-stone and inter-layer insulation admiral vertical superposition of sand body is divided into independent model,type and fold type three types of sand body.The study based on sedimentary facies and analysi of sand scale,combining with the testing results,to determine the vertical and plane distribution of sand body in the target layer,effectively support the development well location optimization in Tao 2 area,and in this way,we can provide evidence for the distribution regularity of nature gas and the prediction and selection for exploration target.
