A series of negative effects were brought by the destruction of the river ecosystem s tructure and the reduction of the river ecosystem function,making the human being gra dually realize the importance of the health of the river ecosystem.More and more attenti on has been paid to the research on ecological restoration of rivers.This study takes a ri ver in Changchun city,Jilin province as the research object,aiming at researching plant resources in the basin according to the river's characteristics,evaluating the pollution so urces and pollutants in the basin,selecting appropriate plant species which can be used i n the ecological management.It focuses on the plant optimal allocation in river characte ristic section,and predicts the results of river plants application measurement according to the basic rules of river plant allocation,the natural condition and functional characteri stics in different river section.This study has a certain guiding significance to the applic ation of plant measurements in the ecological river in the northern China.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)Seven years after inflow channel was restored in ecological way,the riparian plant community species number increase from the initial 10 kinds of growth to now 69,mainly asteraceae and fabaceae.The watershed land use in forestry in land and agricultural land,the organic pollution of rivers are the main threat to agricultural non-point source pollution(nitrogen,phosphorus and other nutrient pollution and pesticides caused).Residents garbage pollution and farmlands leads to soil erosion and river bank erosion zone,which takes up the different sections of the main threat.The plant ecological restoration materials for the river channel should be focused on the species with strong water quality(TN,TP,pesticide)purification,and good performance of the riparian capacity and landscape.Through theoretical research,data analysis and root cutting experiment,47 kinds of ecological restoration plants were selected,which were suitable for the experiment area and the northeast region.There are 24 kinds of herbaceous plants,6 kinds of shrubs,17 species of trees.(2)According to the diverse plant configuration,different slope position habitat characteristics,mixed broadleaf,plant measures,engineering measures and economic principles,the river plant configuration was put forward to improve combined with different sections of the actual situations.The scheme involves plant a total of 21 species,including eight kinds of arbor plants?four kinds of shrubs plants? nine kinds of herbs.In the process of optimal allocation of riparian plant,the river is divided into nine characteristic zones.According to the natural condition(plant resources,pollution,soil erosion)and the function of each section(landscape,water purification,revetment),the specific plant optimization scheme is carried out.(3)The survival rates of cutting and cutting of the riparian zone were respectively 86% and 98%,which were higher than 70%,which were suitable for the ecological restoration of river.In the growth period of 5 months,the new initiation branches,burgeoning branch base diameter and the new bud lines with a total length of root and above ground biomass and underground biomass volume showed a rising trend,especially underground biomass growth in different months between have significant differences.It showed that even in the seedling stage,Salix matsudana also had higher survival rate and faster growth rate that can ensure Salix matsudana's rapid growing.And larger biomass and well-developed root system also demonstrate the Salix matsudana strong water quality purification ability and stability of bank.The optimal allocation of riparian plant is proposed in this study,which has certain guiding significance and application value in guiding the ecological management of the rural rivers in northern China and promoting the ecological clean small watershed model.It is helpful to protect the northeast black land resources,reduce soil erosion,reduce soil and river pollution,restore the ecological function of the small watershed,and guarantee the grain production.
