With the development of human engineering, the artificial excavation high soil slope was increased. Because of the complex deformation and failure mechanism of high soil slope, this kind of slope once occur instability, what will cause serious disaster and loss. Therefore, the research on the stability analysis and reinforcement measures of soil high slope is not only for economic benefit, but also social benefit.In this paper, to Sichuan, Jiangtong Copper Rare Earth Industrial Park excavation high soil slope as the object of study, through the analysis and research of engineering geological conditions, hydrological and geological conditions, with indoor test and GEO-studio, Flac-3D numerical simulation software have stability analysis of slope. Then, according to the results of calculation and analysis, the control measures of prestressed anchor cable lattice combined with retaining wall are selected, the reliability of the calculation results is verified by Flac-3D.(1) Through the site field survey and study of surface area of slope, there are larger free face in the slope front and back edge, slope surface loose soil and cracks are developed, slope rock and soil mainly consists of grave, crushed rock soil, siltstone, and the Xigeda formation clay rock. Combined with the engineering geological conditions in the region, and morphological characteristics of slope, rock mass structure characteristics and the slope deformation characteristics of exposition with the in situ deformation phenomena observed, determine the slope is in the last stages of creep deformation.(2) Calculated using GEO-studio stability coefficient of the slope slip surface in natural, rainstorm, earthquake condition, the calculation results show that the slope under the condition of rainstorm, the slope is in unstable ~ unstable state. Under the natural condition is basically stable ~ steady state and under the seismic condition in less stable ~ basically stable condition. And calculating the stability coefficient of the slope when there has underground water or not, the results show that water is one of the important factors that affect the slope stability.(3) The FLAC-3D of high soil slope excavation of the three stages of excavation numerical simulation, and obtains the stability coefficient of each stage, should stress nephogram, displacement nephogram and shear strain increment cloud and plastic zone graph. From the comparison of the results of the three excavation of the slope, after the third stage of excavation, the slope appears as a whole sliding deformation, which is also consistent with the actual performance of the slope deformation.(4) According to the deformation characteristic of slope, have a research on the anti-slide pile and prestressed anchor measures that used for to reinforce the slope. Through comparative analysis, the prestressed anchor are taken to reinforce the slope, and supplemented by lattice, retaining wall and other governance measures. The reinforced slope numerical simulation results show that the choice of the measure is reasonable and useful.
