The Jijie copper deposit is located in the Lancang River tectonic zone, which belongs to Sanjiang fold system and copper, iron polymetallic ore belt. Few studies on this deposit has been carried out, which limit the understanding of the genesis and metallogenic regularity of the deposit.Supported by the project from China Geological Survey(12120113095500), study on the geological, geochemical characteristics and the genesis of Jijie copper deposits is made. Based on geological data collection, the field work and laboratory analysis of the surrounding rock, ore, quartz samples, metallogenic material sources, ore-forming fluid sources and genesis of the deposit were discussed by the analysis of isotope geochemistry, fluid geochemistry, petrology, et al. The results are as follows:(1)The sulfur isotopic composition of the metal sulfides shows that the sulfur isotope is similar to that of the magmatic derived sulfur isotope, which indicates that the source of sulfur to form the ore is related to the deep magma, which may be the source of the metallogenic material.(2) According to the studies of fluid inclusions in the quartz and the quartz hydrogen and oxygen isotope, the Jijie copper ore fluid are supposed to coming mainly from magmatic water, and part from formational water in the stratum.(3) The genesis of Jijie copper ore is mainly occurred in the broken zone caused by Jijie fault(F1). Combined with regional geological background and metallogenic geochemical research, it is supposed that Jijie copper ore belongs to medium-low temperature hydrothermal deposit, meantime the metallogenic model of the Jijie copper deposit is established.
