Recently, though our country pay more and more high attention to the geothermal resources, there are few geophysical-geochemical methods for prospecting geothermal resources and required to compare several methods to improve the success rate of exploration.Geogas method which has grown up in mineral resources exploration has remarkable effect for deep concealed orebody. What if we introduced the geogas method to the concealed geothermal resources exploration? What's the feature relationships between the formed geogas field and the concealed hot springs? How to form a set of reasonable method to process the exploration of concealed hot springs?there are few correlational researches about the questions so far. This paper choose wuning hot springs in Jiangxi province and nanxiong hot springs?warm water village hot springs in Guangdong province as typical research areas,to process geogas and hydrogeochemical information collection and analysis.By reference to traditional hydrogeochemical research thought, the author analyze the concealed hot springs' geogas abnormal field from the point of mathematics geology(facroe analysis) and element geochemistry(ree partition) views,to summarize the concealed hot springs' genetic models of research areas, finalized to form a set of geogas prospecting way used for prospecting the south of China infiltrational concealed hot springs based on geogas and hydrogeochemical methods. The research mainly draw the following conclusions :(1)The three research areas are all belong to the type of moderate and lower temperature concealed hot springs which origin from infiltration. On the one hand, warm water village hot spring in Guangdong gain the geothermal entirely by geothermal grandient so that the circulation depth is more than 4000 meters. On the other hand, the rest research areas gain the geothermal by radiational thermal energy besides the geothermal grandient so that their circulation depth are less than the warm water village hot spring's.(2)With the change of the water chemical characteristics in the study areas, the abnormal feature elements of geogas fields change too.We can quickly find the geogas abnormal elements on behalf of the anormaly zones by the methods of factor analysis and characteristics elements composite vertical profile. The Co?Ni?Y?REE elements are all rock forming elements which cause the areas' geogas fields become abnormal.(3)There are some hydrological performances in the geogas field under the hot springs which have certain space corresponding relationships between geogas fields distribution and concealed hot springs location?the site of fracture which typically show that the hot springs sections are around the geogas anomaly peaks ? the sections of geogas anomaly peaks are around the attitude of projection surface of fracture which are near to the surface of ground and the region that we delineate by geogas anomaly peaks always parallel distribute along the fault zone.(4)There are rare earth element geochemistry features in the geogas field that have some corresponding relationships between the distribution of rare earth elements and concealed hot springs show that the geogas element ?(Eu)value of high temperature hot water areas is lower than surrounding rocks' ?the geogas element ?(Ce)value of high temperature hot water areas is higher than surrounding rocks' and the introduced new parameter the value of ?(Ce)/?(Eu)has a better effect for delineating hot temperature concealed hot springs.(5)Though the hydrogeochemical method can analyses deeply about the genetic model of hot springs, the method need several prospecting methods combined to determine the position of the master hot water channel in the region of lots of faults or concealed faults.Using the hydrogeological features of relationships between geogas field and concealed hot springs can solve the problem in a way.
