In the stage of rapid development of urbanization and industrialization in our country, the permissions of land usage frequently changes. In order to provide effective basic data for the national economic development, an efficient land verification technology is needed. However, the traditional land survey methods can not make accurate judgment and it is difficult to achieve efficient land monitoring. With the application of GPS, more GPS handset based on Windows Mobile system is used, but they need to improve positioning accuracy to meet the changing needs. In the 4G era, with its superior system function, Android has become the most popular mobile operating system platform. So it has great practical significance to design a GPS positioning system based on Android platform.According to the application requirements, The paper describes the GPS driver transplantation based on Android system, and mainly completed the Java Native Interface(JNI), the Hardware Abstraction Layer(HAL) and the Linux kernel driver transplantation; then completed the application of single point positioning function; secondly based on the VRS technology of the CORS and RTK technology,according to the Ntrip protocol, real-time differential GPS positioning function is implemented; finally this paper designed the static state known point detection method and the baseline relative length detection method for single point positioning and differential GPS positioning accuracy test. Through the processing and analysis of the test data, it indicated that the system of single point positioning reached the precision of meter level(1m-10m), CORS differential GPS positioning reached the precision of centimeter level(1cm-10cm), which has reached the predetermined functional requirements and performance indicators.The design of wireless GPS positioning system based on Android can apply in the field of land survey. It can greatly improve the efficiency of data collection in land geographic information, and it can ensure the precision of the collected geographic data, so as to provide a powerful support for land supervision, and it is helpful to improve the utilization rate of land resources.
