| Potential Coalbed Methane resource has been found in Longchang,Qianxi area.It needs comprehensive means,like Geological investigation,experimental test and production analysis,to obtain exploration and development with high quality.Therefore,the research on coal properties and methane accumulation model with the study of the multi-layers geological characteristics in this pay,and analysis as well as forecasts on the gas production in this area,would play a key role to realize the scientific and efficient development on Longchang zone.Results listed below up to now.1st.The Geology background in Longchang Zone had been well linvestigated,including the stratum,structure,magmatic distribution as well as hydrogeological condition.This made better preparation for the accumulation research.2nd.According to the experimental testing results,the methane gas volume in this area shows a high value and porosity is well structured.Among the coalbed layers,the 18th and 20th can be the main production ones after comparing the thickness,reserves,pressure and other characteristics.3rd.The reserve in Longchang Zone is plentiful for sustainable developing after estimation.4th.Emission rules in this area can be described as follows:coalbed methane gas content varys with the depth and thickness of the reservoir.The hetereogeneous in the planes vary significantly and shows less laws determined from cores.5th.No industrial gas production have been from current two vertical wells.Through production rate analysis and evaluation,economic gas production can be obtained by stimulating current vertical wells and drilling horizontal fracturing wells,in according to the thin layered formations,low porosity and pressure.Further stimulation measures needs to be performed on Longchang Mine. |
