This dissertation deals with species diversity and faunistic studies on the spiders of the Baiyangdian Wetland Nature Reserve of, also refers to the faunistic characters and distribution pattern. The entire work is divided into two parts as follows:?. Based on the data of identifying spider specimens from field investigation and the collection of Hebei University, 22 families, 70 genera and 141 species are reported from Baiyangdian Wetland. Among them, 10 species were recorded from Hebei for the first time. And each spider species is accompanied by the photos of corresponding body habitus and genital characteristics.?. The faunistic characters of 141 spider species from the Baiyangdian Wetland are discussed systematically. The results are shown as follows: 1) Spider faunal components of the Baiyangdian Wetland Nature Reserve are mainly Palearctic species in world zoo-geographical realm; the next are Palearctic plus Oriental species; the endemic genus and species are absent; the Cosmopolite components and Nearctical, Australianal, Aethiopical and Neotropical component are very low; 2) In China zoo-geographic regions, North China Region is the main body, below ordinal it is Inner Mongolia-Xinjiang Region, Northeast China Region, Central China Region, Southwest China Region, Qinghai-Tibet Region and South China Region; 3) The comparability of the Baiyangdian Wetland Nature Reserve and five Mountains or natural reserves in China, and using Sorenson index shows: it most similar to Heze(Cs = 0.4293) in Shandong Province. Thus indicate fauna has a direct adaptation with geographical environment.
