Medicinal Herbal Resources And Application Of Folk In The Western Fujian

The Chinese civilization has a long history, and the traditional Chinese medicine culture is broad and profound, the development of Chinese medicine not only relies on the rich resources of Chinese herbal medicine, the folk medicine resources are also its an important dynamic culture, but many medicine herbal have not yet been found, and still circulated local folk. The Western Fujian is a typical area that riches in natural resources and folk remedies are widely used, many Chinese medicine herbal and application of civil are awaited investigation, mining, research. This article recorded the civil application of medicinal herbal in preventing and curing diseases for the West Fujian through field trips, visiting medicine farmer and doctor. The 175 kinds of medicinal herbs and 455 prescriptions has collected, the distribution and types of local medicinal plants had been found through comparative study and analysis, and the medicine effectiveness for dozens of medicinal herbs without any written records in history were summarized, the paper also puts forward suggestions on protecting and developing of the medicinal herbs in the Western Fujian, and how to inherit and develop the culture of traditional medicine among the people. Through exploration and summary of the medicinal plants resources and the folk medicine in the western Fujian, the Fujian traditional medicine culture will been further enriched, which have an practical significance to promote the development of Fujian traditional Chinese medicine culture.
