With the increasing attention of the cultural heritage of human beings, more and more attention has been paid to the protection of cultural heritage. The main task of the early warning of cultural relics protection is to monitor the survival status of large earthen sites in the field. The study found that the damage brought by the changes of climate and environment to the intangible cultural heritage is one of the major factors contributing to the deterioration of the survival status of cultural relics, monitoring in complex environment large earthen sites in the area of cultural relics in rainfall and rainfall intensity is one of the important contents of the survival condition monitoring.In this thesis, we design a kind of high precision measuring system for rainfall measuring system based on the warning demand of protection of cultrual relic, and realize the remote on-line unmanned monitoring of the rainfall information on the large scale soil site. This system which takes STM32 as the controller completes the operation, control and data processing functions; the design of non mechanical capacitor structure and the corresponding rainfall sensor signal conversion circuit; the study of temperature characteristics of the capacitive rainfall sensor, through the BP neural network model on the sensor is designed for temperature compensation, improving the measurement accuracy; according to the features of application environment, the design of wind energy and solar energy complementary power supply unit with large capacity storage battery, ensuring the reliable work of system; the use of GPRS communication is to achieve the remote, real-time measurement of rainfall information; the design of weather resistance improves system stability, expanding its ability to adapt to the environment.The verification of rainfall measuring system for a long time field environment remote test shows that, measurement accuracy of the system is less than 0.1mm, the measurement error is less than 3%, the measured datas from the rainfall measuring system and the meteorological department are high degree of consistency; the battery voltage range is 9.7V-12.6V, the internal temperature is not less than 5?, it shows that the design of weather resistance meets the requirements of system, the overall performance index reaches the expected design goal.
