The debris flow is one of the common geological disasters in mountain area.The debris flow is a kind of fluid with mixture of solid and liquid.The breaking out of debris flow with large amount of dinas may threaten the safety of people'life and buildings seriously.Most of our mountainous residents live in the flat accumulation area,in where exist many debris flow disaster danger.In recent years,there have been many debris flow in the west region where mountainous area are concentrated.After the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008,geological disasters broken up frequently in Wenchuan,Beichuan,Mianzhu and Dujiangyan,etc,especially in the rainy season.In early years,researchers analyzed and predicted the danger area by statistics model and mathematical model.But the error between calculation and practical cannot be ignored in this way.With the development of computer technology,more and more researchers adopt the computer simulation skill to simulate the overall process of debris flow,especially formation,development,accumulation and sheetflood.In this passage,based on the prospecting and investigating about the Mozi valley' Debris Flow,the meteorological condition,geological condition and the formation condition in Mozi Vally area preliminarily.The dynamic parameters of debris flow is calculated,such as the unit weight,flow velocity and flow quantity.The 3D model is constructed by Auto CAD,Surfer,ANSYS APDL and imported into the CFX,in order to simulate process and get the 3D fluid area and danger area of debris flow.According to the results from the calculation,some advises for debris flow managing are come up.The major conclusion as follow:(1)The geological environment,topographic condition,material condition and water condition of Mozi valley' Debris Flow is investigated by prospecting and surveying.And the key dynamic parameters of Mozi valley' Debris Flow is calculated.(2)The 3D fluid area,danger area and the process of debris flow are simulated adopting the 3D model in CFX.The result is validated by comparison with practical condition.(3 The treatment of Mozi valley' Debris Flow is formulated,which is combining with the slit arrester,and fending groyne.
