In recent years,as technology advances,THz technologies have made rapid development. The development of miniaturization, practical, high integration and rapid THz instruments are imperative to promote the application of THz technology in many areas. This research mainly presents the signal's extraction and processing in THz-TDS system. To improve the SNR and acquisition rate,CD552R3-? ALIA and rapid acquisition system has been designed on the basis of the previous generation CD552R3 LIA system. The main contents are as follows:1.Explain the generating and detecting mechanism of THz pulse signal, and make overall resolutions of ALIA and rapid acquisition system according to the characteristics of THz pulse signal.2.Design the CD552R3-? ALIA based on CD552R3 to extract the THz nA signal. This system mainly includes the current/voltage converter,pre-processing circuit,band-pass filter,phase-sensitive detector and low-pass filter.3.Design the rapid acquisition system that has continuous and stepping acquisition modes to solve the problems of low sampling speed in existing THz-TDS systems. This system mainly contains AD converter,Flash storage, and USB transmission. This system can decrease the acquisition time from 96 s to 1.5s by continuous mode and to 26 s by stepping mode.4.In the last part, this study introduce the simulated and measuring experiments to verify the performance of CD552R3-? ALIA and rapid acquisition system. The ALIA system can detect simulated uV sine signal and magnify it to more than 200 mV without signal distortion. In addition, the SNR can reach 60 dB.Rapid acquisition system can extract the signal with the maximum acquisition rate of 500 kHz.
