From the concept of photonic crystal was put forward in 1980 s,photonic crystal in the aspects such as experimental preparation, theoretical research and industrial application has made great progress, and the research on photonic crystals is still deeply. Now,the study of photonic crystals are most based on the method of the classical electromagnetic theory, such as the transfer matrix method, the plane wave expansion method, the finite difference time domain method and the multiple scattering method. This paper introduces the study of transmission properties of one-dimensional photonic crystals with a new quantum theory method.Firstly, the photon quantum probability current density has been given by the quantum wave equation of photon in the free and non-free space, and defined photon quantum transmissivity, quantum reflectivity and quantum absorptivity by quantum probability current density.Secondly,we have given the wave function within each layer medium by the quantum wave equations, according to quantum mechanics continuity conditions given the relation between each wave function,i.e.,the quantum transfer matrix.By the incident wave function, reflected wave function and the transmission wave function relation obtained the quantum transmissivity, quantum reflectivity and quantum absorptivity concrete calculation expression, and then calculate them by calculation software.Thirdly,we have study the effect of medium refractive index and medium thickness on one-dimensional photonic crystals transmission properties by numerical simulation, and compared them with classical electromagnetic theory results, when the light vertical incidence and non-vertical incidence, respectively. In addition, using new quantum theory method study transmission properties of one-dimensional contains defect layer photonic crystals as well as the one-dimensional photonic crystals quantum well structure, which obtained some innovative and valuable conclusions. It is an important theoretical basis that study one-dimensional photonic crystals, and a guidance of design or apply new optical device.
