The Qingchengzi ore fieldlocated in the Liaodong rift,eastern Liaoning province,is a significant Mo-Pb-Zn-Au-Ag polymetallic ore field in Liao-JiMetallogenic Belt.In this paper,wesummarized the mineralogical characteristics of the Qingchengzi district,on the basis of detailed mineralogical studies of the sulfide minerals in Xinling Molybdenum deposit,Zhenzigou Lead-zinc deposit and Gaojiapuzi Silver deposit by WPMA,thermoelectricity,and LA-ICPMS.Most of the thermoelectric coefficient of pyriteshowsP-type.Only a few shows N-type.Thethermoelectric coefficient of P-Type pyrite ranges from 250 to350uV/K.The galena and half of the pyrite from the main metallogenic stage has no thermoelectricity.The Co/Ni ratios of early stage euhedral pyrite in this area indicate sedimentary origin.But the pyritescoexisting with galena and sphaleritein the later stagereveal a hydrothermal origin.There is a positive correlation between As and S,while As and Fe have a weak negative correlation.The magmatic hydrothermal solution in the main metallogenicstage was an oxidation environment.There are similar S and Pb of galena in lead-zinc deposit and silver deposit.But S and Pb are more richedmolybdenum deposit.The Bi in galena is almost zero in the whole areaindicatingthat the overall formation temperature of galena is low.The Fe and Zn in sphalerite showed a negative linear correlation,indicating that Fe substituted Zn throughisomorphicreplacement.The sphalerite in the lead-zinc deposit and silver deposit formed in the middle temperature environment,but in higher temperature in the molybdenum deposit.Pyrite in the whole mining area aredepletedin S,whilesphalerite and chalcopyrite are rich in S.Galena in the eastern part of the mining area is depleted in S.The substitution of As,Sb and Te for S shows that there are deep mantle derived component in the ore-forming hydrothermal solution.This indicated that mantle materialswereinvolved in the mineralization process.A large amount of isomorphisreplacementof sulfides occurred in the sulfide minerals of Qingchengziore field,which resulted in obvious loss characteristics of major metallic ions in galena,sphalerite,chalcopyrite and pyrite.The ore-forming fluid migrated from the northwest part to the southeastern part of the area.The area to the south of Xinlingbodymay be the main prospecting target for magmatic hydrothermal lead-zinc deposits in Indo-Chinese epoch.The border of Yaojiagou rock and Xinling rock is the target area of molybdenum deposit.
