In order to realize the measurement of the topography of ocean,the monocular vision measurement based on multi-line structured light was used in this subject.The method of the calibration of multi-line structured light was proposed based on the status quo of domestic and international.The internal camera parameters and the extrinsic camera parameters can be calibrated in different time based on the previous work.The subject made the innovation in the calibration of the extrinsic camera parameters.Only one picture of the three-dimensional array target can realize the calibration under the condition of non-cooperation in the field.The method can realize the high precision measurement of the topography of ocean in the central area of the wave tank.In this method,the internal camera parameters were determined based on Zhenyou Zhang's camera calibration.And the extrinsic camera parameters can be get using the three-dimensional array column target.The rotation matrix and the translate on matrix were get when the center points of the upright columns of the three-dimensional array target-and the pixel co-ordinates were known;after the line structured light project on the head face of the upright columns,the relation between the object and the image can be get,and then the plane equation can be fitted.After that,the relation between the line structured light and the camera would get,then the calibration was finished.The indoor tests were made for the feasibility verification.The mean error of the indoor test was 1.1mm and the relative error was 0.57%.And the out-door test was taken for the accuracy verification.The mean error of the out-door test was 2.8mm,and the relative error was 0.75%.The main contents in this paper include:1 The background and the application requirement are mentioned in this paper.The paper then analyses the current situation and the development of this subject.Based on the measurement environment and the measurement requirements,the monocular vision measurement based on the line structured light was taken in this subject.Some key techniques and some technique difficulties are illuminated.2 The paper presented the principle of the measurement of monocular vision.The camera linear imaging model was used in this subject.Then this subject presented all the coordinate system that was used in the camera linear imaging model based on the Descartes coordinate system.Then the relationship between the pixel coordinates and the world coordinate system can be get.3 Some methods of the camera calibration was presented in this paper.And The internal camera parameters can be get based on the Zhang's calibration method.Then the paper present the calibration of the single line structured light.And based on this method,the calibration of the multi-line structured light was prosed in this paper.4 The paper finished the layout of the digital measurement of the wave on the basis of ensuring accuracy,including the layout of all the equipment,the height of the laser and the height of the camera.5 The paper present the program based on the calibration of the multi-line structured light.Then the paper presented the test that was build indoor to test the feasibility of the method.And the measure precision was meeting the requirements.And then present the out-door test.6 In the paper the advantages and disadvantages of the new calibration method are summarized,and further research directions have been given.
