This thesis investigates the finite-time consensus problem of multi-agent systems with noise. A novel nonlinear event-triggered control scheme is proposed . The con-trollers as well as the events ?xe designed in a distributed manner, based only on the local information. This kind of control scheme can significantly reduce the communi-cation consumption and the frequency of the controller updates, which means that the purpose of reducing the waste of communication resource is achieved. It is shown that multi-agent systems with noise can achieve the finite time consensus in probability under the proposed control scheme by using graph theory ,Ito stochastic differential equation and stochastic Lyapunov theory. Whereafter, the finite-time consensus for multi-agent systems with switching topologies is also discussed. The effectiveness of the theoretical results is demonstrated by several numerical examples.
