Study Of J/Ψ→∑~+(?)~-and Ψ(3686)→∑~+(?)~- Decay | | Posted on:2018-02-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J C Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2310330515470662 | Subject:Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The Standard Model is a theory that describe the electromagnetic interaction,weak、strong interaction and the material structure.not all physical phenomena are consistent with the prediction of the theory.Such as the angular distribution of J/ψ→Σ0Σ0 is negative and in the process of ρΠ decays are violation of the standard model predicts the "12%rule".In the BESIII offline system on a 130 million J/psi(3686)and 45 million cases of special case basis,By using the method of single reconstruction greatly improve the efficiency of the selection,greatly improve the the previous:the error of J/ψ→Σ+Σ-branch from 16%to less than 4%.and the error of ψ(3686)→Σ+Σ-branch error from 30%to less than 5%.andBr(J/ψ→Σ+Σ-)=(9.52±0.03±0.32)×10-4,Br(ψ(3686)→Σ+Σ-)=(2.43±0.04±0.10)×10-4,Br(J/ψ→Σ*+Σ-)=(1.26±0.04±0.07)×10-4 and Br(J/ψ→Σ+Σ-*-)=(1.08 ±0.04 ±0.13)×10-4,these results are agree with those of from PDG within errors.The 12%rule is detected B(ψ(3686)→h/B(J/ψ→h))=25(1±0.064)%。The angular distribution of J/ψ→Σ+Σ-angular distribution and J/ψ→Σ0Σ0 is consistently negative.the first time observedψ(3686)→Σ*+Σ-and ψ(3686)→Σ+Σ*-decay that proof signal significant distribution of 3.76 σ and 2.35σ. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | "12%rule", Charmonium decay, Branching ratio, angular istribution, error | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
