Luxi depression is the best exploration area in the periphery of Liaohe basin. With the deepening of exploration, exploration is more and more difficult. At present, subtle reservoir has become the main object of exploration and development. .The focus of the exploration is to find structural oil-gas reservoir or Lithologic reservoirs. The exploration of Wushijiazimiao depression and its side is very low. And it’s a typical lithologic reservoir area, we also gain great breakthrough for exploration in these years.However, many difficulties in the process of further research. First, the upper monolithic sandstone of Jiufotang Formation is thin, mostly 2 ~ 12m, which is difficult to be identified by conventional wave impedance inversion. Secondly, the lower part of Jiufotang Formation Clastic rocks, and volcanic-sedimentary clastic rocks are well developed, identifying volcaniclastic rocks and predicting fractures are very difficult.In view of these problems, this study has made fine structure interpretation, curve reconstruction inversion, multi-attribute analysis and so on, and made effective prediction of effective reservoirs. Because of the difference of velocity between the reservoir and upper and lower surrounding rocks, the conventional wave impedance inversion is difficult to identify. According to the sensitivity analysis, it is found that the deep lateral curve is sensitive to the response of the thin sand body, Using the curve reconstruction technique, the deep side is fitted into the time difference of the acoustic wave, then the impedance inversion is carried out to realize the ability of distinguishing the thin layer, and carving out a number of sand bodies accurately. For the lower section of the Jiufotang Formation, Attribute analysis, RGB color fusion technology, characterize the distribution of volcanic clastic rocks, and predict the development of fractures. The results of well location deployment and reserves calculation are used to obtain good results, and a set of effective reservoir prediction technology suitable for the area is established to guide the reservoir prediction of other sags in the periphery of Liaohe River.
