The study of the earth's interior has been exploring,and the resistivity method is an important geophysical exploration method,In order to solve the problems of hydrology and engineering geology,it is widely used in the exploration of oil,coal and geothermal resources.With the development of production practice,the shallow mineral resources are faced with exhaustion,so Searching for deep concealed deposits is very important.However,most of the mineral resources in our country are distributed in Mountainous Areas,and the terrain is complex.This kind of ups and downs has becomed a difficult problem in electrical prospecting,especially the improvement of resolution is the guarantee of the accuracy of the results.Under different undulating terrain,it is important to choose the best device,that is the premise of the exploration work carried out smoothly.In this paper,the above issues will be discussed in detail.Under the background of hilly landform,researching from the different depth,installation,and other angles through the finite element numerical simulation method for the five devices as Wenner Schlumberger of Seoul,dipole-dipole,pole-dipole,pole-pole and dipole-gradient with terrain modeling.Then analysis the simulation results to determine the influencing factors of the resolution of subsurface detection resolution.Simulation results show:The five kinds of devices can be used to detect the subsurface anomalies,detection accuracy and resolution have advantages.The pole-pole can probe deepest,however,the resolution of the terrain is the worst with unable showing the formation of underground conditions.And when the anomaly is detected,the abnormal area has been enlarged;The results show that the detector has better detection effect under the condition of undulating terrain,however,when the terrain is detected,it Unable to complete probe,failure to restore the distribution of underground strata.Wenner-Schlumberger combines characteristics of Wenner and Schlumberger.The result is fine in detecting depth and lateral resolution.Whether in undulating terrain or undulating terrain,the dipole-dipole performs well in the detection accuracy and resolution.It can reflect the characteristics of underground abnormal bodies or strata.Depth has some influence on the detection effect and precision,under the same equipment and geological conditions,the longitudinal resolution of the device decreases with the increase of the depth of the anomalous body,performancing on the relative position of the geoelectric body,buried depth and form,the same as definition of the peripheral boundary and reflect of top and bottom with decreasing form.And the complexity of the abnormal features is gradually improved.So we can draw a conclusion:the detection depth of the device restricts the resolution of the subsurface.
