The series of Landsat satellite data and ASTER data are widely used in remote sensing geological exploration.There are 4~5 VNIR bands of Landsat data,which show some superiority fordiscriminatingferric iron alteration minerals.The 6 SWIR bands of ASTER data have shown to be effective in predicting the occurrence of a certain group of minerals: Al-OH,Fe-OH and Mg-OH.The spectral resolution in near-infrared band(NIR,0.845~0.885?m)of Landsat8 OLI datais further improved,which provides a diagnostic spectrum for the identification of ferric iron alteration minerals.At present,the geological work of Duolong ore concentrating area deposit is low,and the information is insufficient.But the sparse surface vegetation and the exposed bedrock are favorable for the remote sensing geological exploration.So the alteration mineral extraction and the alteration zonationdiscriminationbased on remote sensingprovide an important information for mineral resources exploration.In this paper,the following three aspects are studied:(1)Using the linear regression method to integrate the ASTER data and OLI data(AO data),anddraw the spectral response curve of AO data.(2)The AO data was tested using image spectra compared to the Hyperion data.(3)The method of MTMF was used to discriminate and extract the mineral assemblage information.The spatial distribution characteristics of alteration mapping and the alteration zonationare studied.This study leads to the following four main conclusions.1.The high similarity of image spectrum in Tiegelong prospect area between AO data and Hyperion dataproves the reliability of AO data.The resampled mineral spectra based on the reconstructed spectral response functionof the AO data are more consistent with the imaging spectrum.The spatial distribution of the four types of alteration mineral assemblage information of the two data aregenerally the same,and the use of AO data for alteration mineral extraction is feasible.2.The remote sensing alteration mineral assemblageinformation and the remote sensing alteration zonation feature of the Duobuza deposit and Bolong deposit are consistent with those of the field investigations.It demonstrates that the AO data can effectively identify the different alteration zonation of in porphyry copper.3.The alumite information distributed on the advancedargilliczone of the Dibaonamugang deposit shows that the AO data(or ASTER data)can effectively identify the alteration of the high vulcanized-epithermal deposit.The characteristics of the remote sensing alteration zonation of the high vulcanized-epithermalDibaonamugang deposit are different from Duobuza and Bolongporphyry copper deposits.According tothe characteristics of vertical alteration zonation characteristics of vulcanized-epithermalTiegelongnan deposit,the vertical alteration zonation of the Dibaonamugang deposit is delineated.4.The results show that thereare still 8 alteration areas with good alteration zonation characteristics,which showa high potential for mineral resources exploration.
