Gas hydrate is a kind of icy crystal material, made up of gases such as methane and water under high pressure and low temperature.Because of its appearance is like ice and flammability meet the fire,so it is called "flammable ice".Due to its wide distribution, large reserves, buried shallow, easy to use, high combustion value, clean pollution-free advantages,it becomes the representative of the new energy in the 21st century.Ocean marine gas hydrates,as the intersection of new energy, clean energy, ocean energy,Marine resource have become the focal point in the trend of the world's energy. The main composition of gas hydrate is methane. The deep-sea methane sensors in situ is the most direct, quick and effective technical method to test abnormal methane concentrations in seawater,so in the application of observation of deep-sea,it can be dissolved in water of methane gas to realize online real-time monitoring for a long time. For marine gas hydrate exploration, deep sea environmental monitoring, water geochemical research it has provided necessary data.German CAMPUS has already produced commercialization production METS the deep-sea methane sensors in situ, however,in the field, the development of our country started in the late, represented by only a few scientific research units, such as of the Chinese academy of sciences, and also are in the stage of laboratory research or sample test.As a result, producing a set of applicable new deep-sea methane concentrations in situ for sea bottom observation is significant to the research and development of deep earth chemical sensors. In paper, based on the project called "High Precision Detecting Sensor System of Deep-sea Methane Concentrations " which is a branch of "A New Series Sensors of Marine Chemical Applied to the Underwater Observation",Marine Technology,863 National Program. The aim is to provide a real-time,long-term,high precision technology method to detect deep sea methane concentration. This study completed the following four aspects:1.The literature review of deep-sea methane sensors in situ and underwater observation research status;2.Set the design and the technical route of "High Precision Detecting Sensor System of Deep-sea Methane Concentrations";3.Did core technology research in seawater pressure tank of inside and outside circulation, seawater sanple fast separation, sample gas composition, gaseous hydrocarbon sensors, and established the basic key technology involved in the technical route,as well as the key components of the main parameter index;4.Separated some subsystem in the system debugging,on the basis of experimental data, made clear the outcomes of each subsystem and the main existing problems, then indicated the direction for further research work.
