Cell senescence has close relation with the body aging.By doing research on the cell senescence,we can explore the reason and mechanism of aging,which is very significant to solving age-related diseases and delaying the aging.At present,the main method for the detection of senescent cells is using the biological markers.Light scattering technology has been widely used in bio-medical fields,especially when classifying cells.The scattering light pattern of related scattering particles contains abundant information about the scatterer.By measuring and analyzing of the scattering light,we can qualitatively and even quantitatively detect information on scattering particle's size,shape,density,orientation,etc.In this paper,we will experimentally explore the senescent cell detection based on two-dimensional light scattering method,which has significance to medical test and miniaturization of medical instrument.The paper is structured in this way.Firstly,we briefly introduce the biological knowledge of cell senescence,and discuss the related theoretical deduction and application of light scattering technology.We mainly introduce the Mie theory formula deduction,etc.And then we analyze the influence of the relevant factors on the scattering light intensity primitively.Secondly,we successfully obtain the scattering patterns of senescent cells and normal cells.By means of analyzing the experimental data,we discuss issues on what parameters can detect two kinds of cells.In this program,the capillary glass tube is used to construct a new type of microfluidic system.And through a standard ball validation experiments,we prove the feasibility of the system.At last,we adopt the same device operation to process the senescent cells,and obtain the related experimental results,and then we make the preliminary analysis.This program builds the foundation for realizing the single-celled control in future.
