Qianjiang depression is located in the middle of Jianghan Basin, which is the most abundant depression in Jianghan basin.Zhugentan area is located in the northeast of Qianjiang depression, which is clamped to Qianbei fault and Zhugentan fault, and yekou low uplift to Zhugentan fault phase separation.Since the Cretaceous, under the constraints of multi boundary conditions, complex basin evolution has occurred, which restricts the spatial distribution of sedimentary system and hydrocarbon accumulation factors. The main activities of Xingouzui period is not the area period,Zhugentan area in the structure, the period of the ancient tectonic framework, palaeogeomorphology and its control effect on reservoir elements, the present research is not thorough, thus restricting the understanding of the oil and gas exploration direction. This paper through the research of complex fault zone of the whole system, based on seismic data, the complex fault zone seismic interpretation and description of advanced technology, reservoir dynamic analysis technology system analysis of structural structure of Zhugentan area, tectonic evolution and its control on oil accumulation, clear reservoir exploration potential, exploration target optimization mainly, has made the following progress:1?Through the analysis of seismic interpretation and tectonic evolution mapping, this paper investigates structural features of Zhugentan area including its adjacent areas and tectonic relationship between Zhugentan area and its periphery. Moreover,This paper also gives a systematical analysis of structure construction of Zhugentan area from the vertical and the lateral. In the vertical direction, the Cretaceous and above can be divided into a four-fold structure which is named fault(the Cretaceous period-the Shashi formation)-fault Sag(the Xingouzui formation)-fault Sag(the Jingsha formation-the Jinghezhen formation)-depression(the Neogene-the Quaternary period);in the lateral direction, structure construction is presented as a Series of uplift and depression framework.2?Through drafting the distribution map of reflection surfaces' fault, this paper definite fault system of the sedimentary period of Xingouzui Formation and its evolution characteristics, and it introduces static feature of the main fault in Zhugentan area.3?Based on the study of Jianghan basin,it can be divided into 3 evolution stages, and these evolution stages is respectively Cretaceous-Early Eocene,Middle Eocene – Oligocenes and Neogene – Quaternary. Each stage includes 2 tectonic phases, these tectonic phases includes 2 rifting episodes during the Cretaceous to Shashi period and Jingsha period to Jinghezhen period and 2 tectonic phases of compression deformation during the the Neogene to the Quaternary period.Xingouzui period which is at rifting episode ? in the first evolution stage is in period of fault Sag.From the global aspect, tectonic activity which is weaker has control action on sedimentary during the Xingouzui period.By using statistics analysis of quantitative method in growth index and the ancient fall, the results show that there is a characteristic of differential evolutionary both in Zhugentan fault and Pengshihe fault during the sedimentary period of Xingouzui Formation.4?Respectively,the lower member of Xingouzui ? Oil formation??-?Oil formation and the upper member of Xingouzui formation.Sedimentary period of the ancient fault system was restored,Clear the development secondary faultin Xingouzui period.By decompressing, the restoration of the relative paleomorphology in Zhugentan areathe lower member of Xingouzui each period and overall performance of the "middle high on both sides of the low, north high south low" ancient landscape pattern.
