Nanotechnology is an important driving force for the development of science and technology in this century, which greatly promoted the research and development of many fields such as physics, chemistry, medicine, biology and materials. The light wave has the characteristics of good penetration,non-contact,high sensitivity and flexible operation. It has always been an important means to realize Nanofabrication, characterization and operation. The sub-diffraction-limit spatial structured light patterns have many significant applications in the frontier scientific fields, such as far-field super resolution imagery, optical tweezer,micro/nano lithography,etc..In this paper, the generating of sub-diffraction-limit spatial structured beam patterns have been experimentally and numerically studied based on the phase modulation of polarized beams. In this study,a new type of phase plate with circular ? and scroll 2?phase plate was designed and the center circular ? phase plate was designed and processed by the experiment.Secondly, the new phase plate focal point of the spatial structure of the light modulation morphology circularly polarized Gaussian beam was observed by the experiment in high numerical aperture system. Finally, based on the theory of vector diffraction integral theory,a spatial structure light with super-diffraction limit size, central symmetry and axis symmetry was obtained by numerical simulation. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results.Additionally, the effectiveness of the new phase plate in modulating other polarized laser beams was analyzed, including modulate circular, linear, radial and azimuthal polarized beams. The results indicated that in the cases of circular, linear, radial and azimuthal polarization incidence the FWHM of the minimum dark spots in horizontal direction are 0.31?,0.32?,0.24? and 0.36? respectively. On the optical axis, the FWHM of the dark spots, which were created by linearly, radially and azimuthally polarized light, were 0.8?,0.78? and 0.76?sequentially,and the axial electric intensity was zero with circularly polarized beam incidence.
