As the technology of Internet and geographic information industry develop rapidly,the applications of geographic information services are increased.Geographic information services,as the solution of GIS which based on web services,releases the spatial data and the data processing functions to the network in the forms of service,and providing interface to break through differences in application platforms,operating systems,programming languages and data sharing functionality and interoperability.However,with the increased demand of geographic information services and the rapid growth of the geographic information services,the traditional way to search geographic information service which based on keyword matching can't meet the demands of people to get service in the vast geographic information services quickly and accurately.In this case the development and application of geographic information services are restricted and hindered.To solve this problem,this paper introduces the theory and method of similarity into the proposition of geographic information service search,abstracts the similar characteristics of geographic information services,and based on it proposes a geographic information service similarity matching model,designs and implements a service similarity calculation which oriented different similar characteristics.The research contents and results in this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper studies the characteristics of geographic information services and the semantic Web,abstracts the service similar characteristics from services operations,descriptions and spatial characteristics of geographic information services,and uses these features to extend the OWL-S,the Semantic Web Services Description Language of geographic information services,and combines different types of geographic information services features to establish the comprehensive geographic information services matching model.Secondly,this paper studies the description similarity calculation method which based on semantic vector space model for the characteristic similarity description of geographic information services to the similarity of spatial range of services.And for the similarity of the range of geography information services,this paper considers the influence of spatial topological relations,spatial distances and spatial area to the similarity of the operation of geographic information services,and establish a comprehensive calculation method.For the similarity of operation geographic information services,this paper analysis of the deficiencies of the existing semantic similarity calculation method and then proposes a similarity calculation method based on the amount of information and the semantic distance with the advantages of low computational complexity and high distinction accuracy.Thirdly,Designs a geographic information service retrieval experiments to verify and evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of the search methods which proposed in this paper.And on this basis,establishes a prototype system of geographic information service search.
