Coalbed methane is not only an important clean energy but also a harmful gas may cause coalminc gas disasters.Thus,it is of great importance to speed up the development and utilization of coalbed methane which may prevent disaster and protect atmospheric environment.Lots of researches had been done on controlling factors and gas enrichment area prediction.But the effect of extraction is undesirable in practical production due to unknown controlling factors and enrichment area.Thus,studying controlling factors and enrichment area prediction are still very important.This paper selected Guojiahe coal mine as a study area,set No.3 coal bed methane as a study focus,used the sedimentary petrology,structural geology,gas geology,hydrology geology:and other related theories,combined to.the result of gas content test,analyzing the characteristic of coalbed deeply from the perspective of coal seam roof and floor characteristics,degree of coal metamorphism,geological structure and hydrogcological conditions.The study selected characteristics of coal reservoir,macro and micro coal rock types,coal quality characterislics,permeability,adsorption characteristics and gas bearing as controlling factors and used grey correlation analysis to determine principal factors which is facult,fold,thickness of overlying strata and mctamorphism.Specifically,the axial part of the syncline,alar part of anticline,thicker overlying strata and higher mctamorphism is conducive to the formation of local coal bed gas enrichment zone,the fault has become the main channel of the gas emission.Additionally,this paper built a principal componenL—multi-parameter nonlinear model to predict gas content and distribution.
