Tailings pond is one of the important facilities for mine engineering and signally to a country's economic development.Because the tailings reservoir has great potential safety hazard,in recent years tailings dam break accident occurs frequently.Not only a serious threat to downstream people's life and property security,but also caused enormous damage to the safety of the surrounding environment.Therefore,studying on prevention and control measures about dam-break debris flow of tailings pond have great significance as well as strengthening research about the safety security and stability of tailings pond.Study on prevention and control measures about dam-break debris flow of tailings pond through numerical simulation and model test based on practical tailings pond engineering located in Chengde City.The main detail research works and achieved in the thesis can be described as follows:(1)The domestic and foreign research on the tailings dam break reason,the tailings dam break debris flow,tailings dam against debris flow were introduced.Briefly introduces the similarity theory for model test,and provide a theoretical basis for model test.(2)Taking the tailings of Chengde City as the engineering background,through field sampling to do indoor soil test,get the prototype tailings gradation,physical mechanics parameters.With the relevant research experience of physical parameters of the prototype tailings and the previous to selected model of sand,sand starting velocity determination model,calculate the similarity index,to provide data for later experimental research.The starting velocity of model sand was measured and the similarity index was calculated to provide information for later experimental study.(3)Do model test in a model test system of tailings pond based on the actual terrain.Date about submerged area and depth of debris flow is measured under different disposal ways of landslide and diversion dam in lower reaches to choose the optimal protective measures.The comparative analysis of the submerged depth of typical observation points in the test,to investigate the effects of blocking diversion dam for the debris flow movement and deposition condition.(4)Based on the actual terrain of the tailings pond,the three-dimensional numerical model of tailings is established.Then,tailings debris flow is simulated by reference to experimental scheme under that tailings debris flow is supposed to Bingham fluid.Finally,the accuracy of the numerical simulation is verified by the model test results,and the influence of the dam on the debris flow is further confirmed.
